Camp Create: Donut Forget

My Favorite Things is doing a summer camp event this week called Camp Create.  Now that the school year and my son's high school graduation are over, I have a little more free time to spend in my studio, so I decided to join in.  Glitzy Glitter is the first challenge and right up my sparkle-loving alley!

I pulled out the Donuts & Sprinkles stamp set by My Favorite Things, along with the matching dies.  I cut the donut base from Dark Chocolate cardstock and the frosting layer from Harvest Gold cardstock.  Naturally, I added sparkly yellow glitter to the frosting!  Who could resist?

For the rest of the card, I cut my pieces using dies from Blueprints 1.  I stamped the sentiment in Dark Chocolate ink on the white scalloped mat, glued it to a yellow polka-dot layer, and then to a Dark Chocolate card base.  Simple and sure to make someone smile!

Here's the badge I earned for participating in this Glitzy Glitter challenge.  Click on the image to see other entries and view the instructional video.  Feel free to join in!
